Ben is a data protection specialist solicitor at Pritchetts Law LLP, with over 20 years of experience. His expertise and experience are drawn from time in private practice and in-house. He enjoys working collaboratively, and brings his wider commercial background to bear, for the benefit of all clients.
Ben has trained and worked for several top UK law firms, Pinsents, Burges Salmon and Addleshaw Goddard. He has also spent years working in-house at Heathrow Airport, and Air New Zealand, before joining Pritchetts Law to specialise in data protection, and commercial contracts.
Ben handles a wide range of data protection issues for businesses of all sizes nationally and internationally, including various law firms and professional services businesses. His data protection work includes delivering training and advising on data protection audits, data protection impact assessments, data breaches, compliant marketing and all the contracts, international transfers, policies and procedures that support clients’ data protection compliance programmes.
Ben’s expertise has led to him contributing his views on BBC News and he has also presented on data protection issues at conferences and industry events. He also leads in-house training for clients and has tutored on the leading Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection (“PC.dp”) qualification course.
