Stephanie is a Solicitor and founding Partner of Pritchetts Law LLP, a niche specialist law firm focusing on data protection. She is an industry-leading lawyer with over 20 years’ experience advising a wide range of clients on all aspects of data protection law.
Before founding this practice in 2009, Stephanie was head of data protection law at Burges Salmon LLP, a Top 50 UK law firm. She has also spent time working on major industry secondments with the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Virgin Mobile and the GBR Challenge for the America’s Cup.
Stephanie has appeared on BBC Radio, BBC News, ITV News and BBC One’s Sunday Politics, discussing topical data protection issues. Stephanie is also a regular contributor to the market-leading Privacy & Data Protection Journal and Data Protection Ireland and also writes for many other independent magazines and journals.
Stephanie speaks and presents at conferences, as well as being a lead tutor on the Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection (“PC.dp”) qualification .
Stephanie handles a wide range of data protection issues for businesses of all sizes nationally and internationally, including law firms and professional services organisations. Her data protection work includes advising on data protection audits, data protection impact assessments, data breaches, compliant marketing and all the contracts, international transfers, policies and procedures that support clients’ data protection compliance programmes.
